No Fuss Happy Hour

This week I hosted a happy hour on my back deck. Instead of cooking I took help from the store and put together a cheese and meat platter. Where I spent my time was making homemade ice cream and turning it into homemade ice cream sandwiches. Time well spent!

Making my own sushi

Loving this "making my own sushi" thing. It's so much easier then I ever thought. The key is ordering sushi rice from the sushi counter at the grocery store. The BEST is to use frozen tempura and after you cook it up, roll it in!

Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

I've been wanting to make Chicken Noodle Soup from scratch forever. I decided I better make it before Rory gets here. It was time consuming but yummy and felt great to accomplish it!
